SUMMARY

Sending Peter and John to make arrangements for the meal, Jesus and the disciples enjoy Passover as their “Last Supper.”  After washing their feet, He teaches them extensively.

FOR REFLECTION

Read John 13:12-16 … Despite how busy and full this week has been for Jesus, despite all the conflict and even what He knew was ahead, Jesus demonstrated the humility of The Servant (Is 53) and took on     a role of a servant by performing the lowliest of duties for His friends. 

Jesus, we want to imitate You… we are too often like your disciples- clamoring for attention and privilege.  But you knew that our ignorance required an extreme example. Wash us clean once again from our sin.
