2 Cor 10-13 Final Week Study

On Sunday, Sept 6, we’ll be unpacking 80 verses over four chapters in 2 Corinthians 10-13. Despite the size of the passage we're aiming at, there's one main theme we'll see this week: how to respond when criticized and opposed.

Paul’s adversaries openly questioned his character and authority, his motives and ministry. This week, we want listen in both to what Paul says and as well to how Paul communicates it. To be sure, some aspects of how he responds are unique to his role as an apostle, but others transcend his role and are valuable for us today. 

See if you can note moments that seem to rise above Paul’s situation that give us permission to not just notice Paul’s behavior but encourage us to follow his example. Let’s dig in ...

As you read, pay attention to four recurring questions:

1.   What accusation is Paul answering?

2.   How does Paul respond?

3.   What does Paul refuse to do?

4.   What principle might Christians learn from his example?
